We actually
didn’t have plans on going to Melbourne,
but we decided to go anyway, because everybody told us how fantastic it was.
We also had a special invitation from some distant family members of mine, whom
we visited.
We went to
the
Great Ocean Road
to see the stunning scenery. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed it very
much.

On the way we saw koalas. Lots and lots of koalas! In fact there were so many
koalas, that they are eating themselves to extinction! Normally koalas don’t like each
other, but here some of them shared their trees!
Here's a part of the fire show in Melbourne

John and Elaine, were very friendly and invited us to join their Easter dinner with one of their daughters and her children.

After dinner we went to visit their other daughter and her family, we were introduced to the whole family and we had a great day. We even saw kangaroos in the wild!

We also went on a tour to
Philip Island to see the Penguin Parade.
The little penguins walk all the way from the sea, where they catch fish all day long, to their kids in the nests on land several kilometres away!

On the way there we went to a sanctuary where I saw a Tasmanian devil and the butt of a wombat!

We went to the skydeck, the tallest building in Melbourne.
