Friday in London 8-)

Friday we went to the Danish church. The sun was shining and the cherry trees were blooming. It was beautiful walking down the streets towards the church.

Afterwards we went to different areas to analyze the life in the streets, the building etc. My group went to Soho, were we noticed a lot of different people. Just by looking down the street it was clear. On one side the theatres were located right beside each others. On the other side of the street there were restaurants everywhere, mostly Chinese. The people were so different from each other! There were lots of Asians, East Europeans and tourists!

In the evening we went to the local bar, where our lovely teachers treated us a beer… for the surplus of our money xD

We were having a great time, and it only got better when we met our sister: Sarah. She was sitting at the table next to ours, and Kyung asked her to join us. She was so nice to us, but no matter how hard Kyung tried, she couldn’t make her take a tequila with us, so she drank red wine instead xD Paolo and Gloria, who came from the Gran Canaries joined us, and we had a great time. 

Thursday in London ^-^

Thursday morning we went to a hindu temple, which was built by voulentears. It was a very beautiful and peacefull place, even though our guide was so rude to us: "Im gonna speak very slowly, because we have some danish people here today!" and then when we were hesitating to answer one of her question, she just started yelling at us xD

We went back to the hotel afterwards, to take a nap, before we went to the theatre to see... PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!! It was really awesome, and the actors were singing amazingly.

wednesday in London ^-^

We started the day going to a buddhist center, where we meditated :3 If you felt some happy energy and annoying smiles coming your way, it was probably me, thinking about you! ^^

 

Afterwards we headed towards the Globe, which is a theatre rebuild in the memory of Shakespears. It was a very beautiful theatre, with a lot of details. Afterwards we were a part of a workshop where we did a lot of funny exercises and learned some interesting things about acting.

The afternoon we were free to do whatever we liked, so Kyung and I of course ended up in the Ramen restaurant from the day before ^-^

We were talking to our waitor-friend about how the life in London was different from Denmark, but suddently it was late, and we only had 1 hour to get home... Which isn't a lot considering how often we get lost... This time it wasn't our fault, but actually an underground service person, who showed us a way 3 times longer than what we had in mind... Anyways... we got home safely in the end xD

Tuesday in London ^-^

My predictions were right... Kyung and I got lost xD
Tuesday morning we start walking from the hotel, when I suddenly realize, that I have forgot my wallet with passports and money... and like Kyungs mother said before we left: "Kyung if you lose your passport you are fucked, you are screwed, you are dead, you are doomed! o.O" so of course Kyung and I hurried back to the 4th floor of the hotel to get those bloody passports, and then we would go catch up with the others....

But of course that plan was ruined... The underground is temporarily being reconstructed, so what our teachers had told us about the trains wasn't right...
We tried ourselfves to find the right way and asked friendly people about the way, but... we quickly found out that when I say "that way" it means: "the opposite direction" ... o.O

anyways we ended up getting to Camden street before the rest of the class, because Kyung for some weird reason actually knows how to get around in London!





We were interviewing people most of the day, including these nice bobbys! xD I asked the guy, if I could try his hat, but he told me no, because it was all sweaty... -.-

Later we visited a mosque. On the way there, we crossed a park where Kyung and I made 2 new friends: Pepper and her person! ^-^

We got to try to throw a ball with a stick (as you can see in the picture...) and we had a lot of fun... especially because i kinda sucked throwing it... xD





Kyung and I are the ultimate friendmakers, we went back to Camden later to go shopping, where we ended up in a shop, talking with the owners for like 2 hours! They were very friendly and funny people, and they showed us how to play cricket... or some kind of simple kind of cricket :P



Later again we found a funny shop with these wonderful wigs... We promised the guys in the shop to come back to buy them Friday evening, if we have too many money left xD

And then we went eating... ramen ;) a Japanese noodle soup, which was extremely delicious, and we made another friend: our Malaysian waiter xD

That was the wonderful day 2 in London ^-^

arrived to London!

I woke up early Monday the 4th of April. I woke up happy, ready for the trip.

Nothing much happened in the airport or in the flight, but when we arrived in Heathrow airport, the fun began!

Kyung and I made a big crime taking pictures of a giant fluffy sheep in the airport. An angry man told me to delete the picture at once, which of course I did. Because... Pictures of a fluffy sheep could hurt the safety in the airport! o.O

Anyway... I accidentally forgot to delete this wonderful picture 8-)

Later we went out in the city in groups to take some pictures. Kyung got the ultimate responsibility of being her groups leader, which she took very seriously! xD

We went to... some place I don't remember... To hear a danish girl named Mette tell how it is to live in London. We found this water-thingy, and I had to keep an eye on Kyung, to make sure she didn't run into it xD

Later again we were heading towards a Mexican restaurant, but our teacher kept going the wrong way, so we ended up getting lost :P




Finally we found it, and I ordered my dish in Spanish "quiero tacos con pollo!" xD The poor waitress looked at me confused for a moment before she smiled and wrote it down ^-^

Another sign we found kind of interesting... LUSH!!! xD

That was the first interesting day in London...
