Here are my pictures from when I was walking across Harbour Bridge













The Bridge is not that beautiful when you are walking on it, but the view was amazing!











Technically I could walk all the way to Luna Park, as it is just at the end of the bridge! But it is a veeeeeeeery long walk, so I would be exhausted before even getting there!









All this water reminds me of home, and I really miss the beach!

But the beach has to wait until I have a day or two off when the weather is nice, as it is located about half an hour in a bus away!

Luckily the spiders weren't home when I visited, so I still haven't seen one alive!

Martin and I went for a walk in the area near to our appartment last week. On the way we found a couple of weird things: 

A school.... with bars in front of the windows and iron gates... Once you go in, you'll never come out alive!! xD

It's kinda interesting that so many houses here have bars in front of the windows... Sometimes I wonder if we are actually living in a prison area!

The wild chairs

Today I was at work.
And I learned to operate a new ride, all by myself!
It's called the wild chairs, and it looks like this:

Sydney - Harbour Cruise

Hello everybody! 

The Opera House - Now from a new angle! 

You never get tired of this bridge, do you?!

I'm sorry I haven't been updating lately, I've been too busy.

Here are my pictures from a harbour cruise I was on about 2 weeks ago!

I got the ticket from the Work and Travel Company

I found some paparazzi friends on the boat, I helped them by taking pictures of them, and they helped me!

They were really nice people from a travelling agency, and before I knew it, I had 3 cards if I ever happend to go to their part of the world!

I am very mad at bloggers new design...
I cannot upload a lot of pictures at the same time, so you will have to be satisfied with less than normal!

Besides, the design on my blog may look weird sometimes, but the new "improvements" won't let me place the pictures and the text as I want to...

Anyways, I hope I will get the time to update my blog a bit more often, but I probably won't have much to tell, as I am working most of the time!

Sydney - Luna Park

So... We got the job!! :D

Luna Park is a great place! My job is to make sure that people are happy, what could be any better than that? :D









And then of course I am responsible for the safety on the rides. ^-^

I have to give the clear signal to the operator, it looks like this:

My colleages are really sweet and helpful.

So far I have only learned to be an "attendant" at 2 rides: The Spider and the Dodgems, and then of course Coney Island. Coney Island is the worst place to be in, in my opinion, because it's inside, and I prefer the sunshine!

My favourite ride is the Spider! It's out in the sun, they listen to music, and the ride is awesome!

Kids cannot go on their own, so if they don't have any parents with them, I can go with them instead!

And for that... I am called a superhero!

Sydney - Welcome to our home!

We have our own room as you can see in the pictures, and we are finally over the cockroaches!

We share a living room and kitchen with our flatmates, and even though it can be a bit messy at times, it's really good to have somewhere to make real dinner!

Tuesdays are trivia nights! We go downstairs in the bar, where we have the chance to win some money AND!!! Meat! We have to answer an aweful lot of questions, and do some creative stuff like drawing and modelling.

I helped making this "rock concert" and we actually placed second for this! wuhuuu :D

Sydney - Food!

Today was the day that I tried kangaroo! :D

I had been looking foreward for it, and thought I would have to wait for my salary, but there it was, on sale! 

It tastes really good! Very different from anything I have tried before, and the consistensy was a bit different as well, but it was great! 

Finished meal! Such a gooood salad! :D

Earlier today we went to Paddy's Market, where you can get all your vegetables fresh and cheaper than the supermarket! Compared to Denmark, vegetables are really expensive in Australia, so we don't get that much of it normally, but today it was time for a really good meal! (Finally something else but pasta!!)
